Dear President Dhebarji,
I have been ill for almost
one full year and a little more with the foul disease, cancer which has over-powered me.
Our good friend, Shri G.B. Kotak had been here with his wife once during his visit to the
South and cheered me up with his presence and blessed me. My suffering is so intense that
I am feeling really desperate and unable to bear the hard blows of Providence. Still, I
plant my faith in Him and keep waiting for some relief to come some day.
In this background of my
health you will kindly excuse me for writing this letter, a letter which perhaps I should
not write. Shri M. Palaniappan,M.L.A. (Congress constituency of Alsoor) Bangalore is a
very good friend of mine and has come down to Karaikudi and seen my educational
institutions at work. I am deeply interested in his welfare as he has indicated his care
for my institutions more than once. These are days of politics naturally at work. I shall
be grateful if you will just kindly bear in mind that I have a very high opinion of the
character and capacity for selfless service of my friend Mr. Palaniappan.
With kindest regards, |
