College P.O. Karaikudi. 15thApril, 56. Dear Sir, I was very happy to be told by my
assistant, Ramachandran, that you had written to him enquiring about my health and wishing
me speedy recovery. I write this just to express my sincerest thanks to you for your
generous sentiments, as also for the most delightful day I spent in your midst at your
University.
I am still lying in bed, and it looks as though it may take about a couple of months or
more for me to recover some movement, even within the house. The leg-fracture may take so
much time to heal up. It is God's will, and has to be borne meekly.
Even in my sick-bed, all my thoughts and dreams are towards the one great happening - the
constitution of my colleges at Karaikudi into a Central University. I shall certainly be
most grateful for any help that you can render, and for any information regarding the
constitution of the statutory~ board of the Commission.
With kind regards, |
