Mrs. Unnamalai Ramanathan

Mrs. Unnamalai Ramanathan is the grand daughter of Dr. RM. Alagappa Chettiar, the wife of Mr. AL. Ramanathan and the daughter of Mrs. Umayal Ramanathan. She obtained her undergraduate degree in arts from Stella Maris College, Madras.

In 1965 she married Mr. AL. Ramanathan. She has two children. A daughter named Lakshmi who is the Administrator of the Umayal Play School in Chennai and a son named Alagappan who is a surgeon.
