My dear Sa. Ganesan,
A kindly Providence has
brought us close together in recent years, and I am indeed proud of the friendship that
I have built in you. The functions, both of the College and later, of the Foundation
Stone, were quite supreme in their respective lines; and not a little of the grandeur and
the magnificence of these functions was due to the great affection that I have had the
privilege to receive from an intimate circle of friends like you. My only prayer is that
we should all march together through thick and thin to achieve the great and laudable
objectives that we have in view, i.e., to build up a congregation of academic units imbued
with the highest ideals.
