Dear Mr.
Malcolm MacDonald,
I am most grateful to you
for your kind letter of April 4, expressing concern at the unforeseen relapse of my
ailment and wishing me speedy recovery.
After the Deep X-ray
Therapy treatment, I was brought back to my residence from the Nursing Home about three
weeks ago. I am, however, still lying in bed, patiently hoping that sometime soon I would
atleast be able to sit up though, I am told, it may take a few more months for me to be on
my feet again It is God's will and has to be patiently borne.
I am happy to inform you
that my Educational Trust is starting a College of Physical Education at Karaikudi in July
and His Highness the Rajpramukh of Mysore has consented to kindly inaugurate this
institution. I am keenly looking forward to the privilege of receiving you in our campus
one day after the college re-opens for the academic session. I shall feel grateful if you
would kindly keep me informed when you programme a visit to the South so that I can
arrange a day for you at Karaikudi which is but 50 miles down South of Trichirapalli
Airport, on the main road to Rameswaram.
With kind regards,
