Dear Sir,
I take this opportunity to
thank you and Lady Raman most sincerely for the kind visit both of you made to me and
cheered me up. I made bold, with the permission of doctors, to go to Karaikudi and spend
mm much as nearly a fortnight, participating in the A.P.T.I. Conference and other academic
functions in the Campus. I was moved about in a wheeled chair and felt immensely happy in
mingling with the atmosphere of students and their activities after a lapse of several
months. Thanks to the good-will of friends like you and, what is more, the grace of God,
the institutions are growing well and I look forward to their attaining their due status
of a University before long.
I am very grateful to Lady
Raman and your goodself for your continued affection and sympathy for your young ailing
friend and interest in his natural aspirations with regard to his educational
institutions.
With kindest regards to
Lady Raman and your goodself.
