Dear Shri
K.C. Reddi,
I am just continuing to lie
prostrate in bed, almost for a year now, without any movement, and with pain here and
there and discomfort all the time through. That is God's will. I am grateful to you for
your having kindly looked me up every time you passed through Madras. I look forward to
the pleasure and the privilege of meeting you some time when again you pass through
Madras. I am enclosing a copy of the letter which I have addressed to you on 26th
September when I was in the Nursing Home - the letter which, I have been informed by your
Private Secretary, was received while you were out of India and would be placed before you
after your return to Delhi. You might have seen the letter or in the midst of your work it
might not have been possible for you to go through it. I am writing this letter once again
just to request you to try to do your best for Shri Murugesan in whom I am very deeply
interested. shall be grateful for whatever assistance you can possibly render to Shri
Murugesan in the Neyvell Scheme. I shall ask him to make such applications to such
authorities as you may indicate.
You must have come back from your tour of Russia and other countries with broadened mind
and a clearer perspective of the needs of our country and the extent of help that could
possibly be received from countries abroad. As Minister for Production, you have great
work lying ahead of you, and I in my humble way wish your noble and persistent efforts all
God's blessing and success.
With kind regards,
