Rather I should address you
as "C.V. Chettiar" in conformity with the affectionate manner in which Chettinad
ladies call you and, latterly, our Premier, Omandur himself. I am indeed most grate- fully
and genuinely moved by your unstinted labour of love. My only hope and prayer is that the
friendship that has borne such great and delicious fruits, will continue to grow from more
to more, andyour attachment give me anchorage during my moments of stress and turmoil and,
at other times, the basis for building up great institutions, which will cause joy and
happiness to many around us.
