I am extremely grateful to you for having called on me the otherday and given me cheer after your return from abroad. I find from the papers that you had
also accompanied the President's party to Madura and other places and have returned to the City last night. It is great of our revered President to have called on me, a mere individual from the highest position he occupies in the land.
During your absence abroad my Educational Trust opened the Alagappanagar Polytechnic at Alagappanagar, Travancore - Cochin. So I could not have the benefit of a message from you since you were out of India. I have great pleasure in
enclosing an invitation for the inauguration of Alagappa College of Physical Education at Karaikudi on the 27th August, by the Rajpramukh of Mysore. I shall be grateful if you could kindly send a message for the occasion.
I am prayerfully hoping that I should atleast be physically present on the 27th August at my college campus when this great event takes place. I hope He will grant my prayers.
